“I called Doug’s number and he answered immediately. I was highly upset about a situation between my husband and me. Doug talked me off the ledge [while I was] sitting in a parking lot while waiting for donuts for our kids. He was able to meet with both my husband and I by 5:00 that evening. Two years later we are still meeting with Doug and we are stronger than ever. Both independently and as a couple.”

On-Demand Therapy On Your  Schedule

You’re going about your day — moving through your typical routine. All of a sudden an explosive event occurs, like:

  • You and your partner just had a screaming match over breakfast — you’re terrified they’ll walk out on you.

  • You and your aging parents get into a heated argument about their living situation — you’re afraid they’re no longer able to take care of themselves.

  • You and your coworkers had a disagreement over the project you’re working on — you’re worried your manager might hear about it and fire you.

In the midst of an emotional crisis like this, you may not feel comfortable talking to your friends or family. You’d rather speak with a professional clinical voice. Someone who can help you navigate the complexities — and help you manage the situation so you can find the comfort level you are seeking.

But after a quick search of the internet, it seems like all of the therapists you come across:

  • Have no immediate availability.

  • Aren’t accepting new patients.

  • Can’t work around your schedule.

I know how frustrating this can be. That’s why I created the Doug-on-Demand service option.

I’m Doug Lormand, a relationship therapist who helps individuals and couples through their emotional crises — and I’m available to see you within 48 hours or less.

After working with clients for over a decade, I've seen first-hand how accessing professional help in crucial moments propels you toward healing. Therapy amid crisis situations is a powerful and effective tool.

That's why I try my best to work around your schedule. So you don’t have to sit on a waitlist and finally talk to a therapist about a complex topic weeks after it occurred.

How Does This On-Demand Therapy Service Work?

Doug-on-Demand is a unique and unorthodox service that you probably haven’t seen anywhere else. So you might be wondering, “how does this work?”

It’s a simple 3-step process to get started:

  • Fill in your contact information and pay for your session. Start by submitting some basic details like your name, phone number, and email address. You’ll also pay for the session (a flat rate of $225).

  • Complete the required patient forms. Check your inbox for an email from me with your new client forms. Once you’ve secured a session, we’ll need to get the proper documentation secured. If you’re a new patient, you’ll need to fill out the New Patient forms through the secure, online platform.

  • Be ready for a call. After I have received your forms, I’ll review them to ensure all the vital information is included. Then, expect a timely response from me personally. Once the connection has been established and you are comfortable, our session will begin — and you’ll be one step closer to managing what feels out of control or uncomfortable.

The beauty of on-demand therapy is that I'm here for you, as soon as possible. It’s a quick and efficient way for us to connect without the hassle of booking an appointment that’s weeks away.
